blood sweat and tears in his eyes when the routine went off kilter
he who pilots the vehicles of prosperity
obsessing over depictions of ropes , rivets , sails
do not be mistaken -
he is a mighty warrior
who waits on the lord for strength
tuned to the out of tune keys
an instrument of thy peace
filled with sweet tea ,
sweet greens
sweet grains from the fallen leaf
don't touch too much of the chocolate delights
he is not convinced that these great evils can separate us
even in hapless , unfortunate scenarios ,
making cards with shade technology
where the water has diluted ,
when all we could do was drink and pretend to be merry
sipping on the elderberry juice
when small town life turns too close for comfort
look , listen -
we are all the forest
