grab the roots and pull up the crags (149)
honest words hang in the hallway
(am i really honest ? )
that read -
UNITE , WHAT WE WISH WE KNEW BEST
walk the hallsÂ
in poorness , but with integrity
and bear all to the man in front of you
who lives a well ordered life
fresh slates , switch shapes
shape shift
a scribe that pens
everything you say
leave the notes scattered on the table
next to open booksÂ
 close your eyes
what are the gifts of the blind ? can they see what i see ?
can bartimaeus enjoy the festival of balloons ?
adobe , sante fe style , a sky littered with colour ?
wash the pain away ,Â
send you back into the fold , free of resentment
take the depot of perfection , depot of peace
ticket to ride , mr shoemaker - and stick to your lot !
