a conversation with gus (313) we'd be lost in love until the weekend comes look now at the self-portrait / he is sitting quietly waiting for the revelation / revenant man who bested the elements in god's kingdom / created in the beginning / chorus to hear him say the words dual citizenship / long hands and long fingers / the last of its kind ever made / set in the stage / backdrop descendant / into turmoil i would do anything in my power to keep you safe ring the bell its breakfast time at the hut/ reliance placed on giants to-do lists / before that go listen to miracles of change , personalities near to one another / ah! / there it is , we have our natures remembered in a single book / let us in to share true brotherhood / i hadn't seen myself in print before! / pass through this curtain shade in tune and leave it gladly / like the olives fall when ripe / grateful to the tree which gave it growth , that will continue to do so / preached from the teacher with facial bloat what a pleasure to be still , a mind remembers and plans unless pumped with ohms and ahs / mantras to put mr ego in the back pocket / i was tilted on the celestial plane skewed like the self portrait / i saw the lake and the fence we used to hop as a shortcut to escape / it was a simple escape hatch / relevance relevance relevance relevance / why is it so? because , and gus needed to know , to conform to something new to take it all away , the logs hewn for the cabin you chose / the logs hewn to the party line / take care of the morning pages / they're turning fast and always come back to her to be with you today - // ( scratch , from 4 5 25 )
thank you kindly for reading ,
